Shoot 1
I have selected these photos as they didn't have the effect i was looking for. For the first photo how i framed the photo wrong making it to busy looking in the back ground. As well as this having the glassware inside each other didn't have the effect i was looking for. As a result if i was to re take the photo i would make sure not to put the glassware in other pieces thats why this photo was one of three that have this set up.
The second photo i was trying to bring out the colour more in the shadow it cast by putting it on a white background. However the white background just seemed to absorb the casted colour. As a result of this i used the wood floor in my house as it showed the casted colour up the best. To make the colour stand out more im going to remove the colour from the floor in photoshop.
The next three photos all have the same problem and that is they are over exposed with some being most so than others. As a result i had to play close attention to the changing light in the room i was using and adjust my shutter speed to accommodate for this.
Shoot 2
I selected the photos in this series as they didn't work out as well as they could have, however ballon's due to their smooth shape are extremely difficult to focus on camera as there is no edge. The first photo is really underexposed as a result i need to change the aperture in order to allow more light into the camera.
The second photo still is slightly underexposed as well as this it is a little out of focus. As a result if i was going to retake this photo i would try to keep the ballon's stiller as they move around so easy. This would make it easier to focus on the objects and i could also i could decrease the shutter speed a little bit in order to allow more light to the film in turn exposing the photo better.
The next photo is quite out of focus, if i was to retake i would spend more time really focusing on how sharp the photo was. A way i could do this is by decreasing the shutter speed so the photo is taken faster, resulting in there being less chance for movement to cause blur.
In the next photo the two ballon's in the background are both out of focus however the one in the foreground is. I was trying to get all the ballon's in focus in the photo and it was extremely difficult.
The final photo the orange ballon is the only on that is in focus, the other two are both out of focus. As a result i was to retake the image i wouldn't have a foreground and a background because of how the curved surface makes it really difficult to focus on one thing.

When coming up with this idea i was inspired by Martin Parr of how he used everyday objects in his work. As a result i was looking around my house and just so happened to notice a piece of glasswork in the sun casting its shadow. This inspiration allowed me to notice something that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.
I am extremely happy with the end result of most of my photos however i really need to pay close attention to the changing sun. As then i can make sure that i don't end up with over or under exposed photos.

The first photo was shot as the first thing that i noticed and was me experimenting to see if the camera would pick up the shadows casted colour. This inspired me to look around the house for other possible glassware to form other coloured shadows. As a result it came out exactly how i wanted it to.
The next photo where it shows the blue shadows from the bottles and the red, orange and yellow from the bowl. This was inspired by David LaChapelle and how vibrant his colours are, so i will later edit this photo to increase the colour saturation on the shadows and to decrease to saturation of the floor. The reason i'm happy with the photo is due to how well the colour of the shadows stand out as it implies that there is beauty in the everyday that goes unnoticed unless your looking.
The next photo show the light reflecting and casting the coloured shadow off and through the glassware. It was inspired by Kander and David LaChapelle and how they use light in order to from the colour palette for their photos. This photo was difficult to take as the sun light was moving as well as dispersing the colour and reflections in multiple directions.
The photo of the bottle top and show is one of my favourite because of how the bottle top is really in focus and the shadow of the colour is behind it making the blue int he photo stand out more. As a result i am going to use photoshop in order to make the blue in the photo stand out even more.
The next photo was in inspired by the artists use of light and colour. I used my inspiration of light to come up with i idea of stacking the cubes on top of each other so the colour wasn't so block and it was broken up as the light goes through the stack. The inspiration from colour was used to realise that i could edit the photo to focus on the blue and see through the yellow floor that does cause much contrast.
The final photo of the cube was inspired by Martin Parr and how he takes photos of the objects and as a result i released that i could also take photos of the cubes and not just the shadows that where being cast. I then took photos of the sun actually moving through the cubes, giving me the resulting picture.
Shoot 2
When coming up with my idea for may second shoot i was inspired by David LaChapelle and he's use of high saturation and colour. Due to this I started to think of things that use block colour and because of a birthday i went to I came up with the idea of taking photos of balloon's. The reason for choosing them is because they come in all different colours and sizes. With out seeing David LaChapelle's work i would not have thought of ballon's .
I am very proud of myself with these photos as i found out that ballon's are really difficult to take photos of due to them being smooth and rounded. This makes the focusing my camera on the ballon's extremely difficult, not helped by the slightest breeze or movement would make the ballon's move around. As a result I really had to pay close attention to the focus on my camera and everything around me that could possible make them move. However i really enjoyed the challenge that came with it.
With reference to my Best Photos...
My first photo is my favourite because i like how all the ballon's are blue but all different shades of blue. As well as this it is in focus, I accomplished this by using the tied bit of the ballon to focus the camera on therefore focusing the whole photo. When i edit this photo i am going to increase the contrast to see if i can get the colours in individually pop more.
In the second photo i used inspiration from David LaChapelle and how he uses high saturation. I also used green and yellow because i noticed that they worked well together bring out the other colour well. However i am going to increase the saturation in the photo using photoshop.
The next photo I really like how by adding in the blue from the last photo it really added another angle / direction that the photo could be seen from as it just added that little bit more, forcing the colours to really standout. As a result to I am going to play around with the hue and saturation of the photo in photoshop. This is do it will sit better in the series of higher saturation and contrast photos.
In the next photo i used all the ballon's that i was using to see how all the colours together would work and i am really happy with how they came out. This was inspired by Martin Parr and how he uses at lot of different colours all in one photo. As a result i am going to also photoshop the photo by changing the contrast and saturation so the photo relates well with the others in the series that are the same way.
The next photo is another of my favourites this is because of how there is one of every colour that i had. As well as this the focus in this photo was extremely difficult as the ballon's are in a line and i took a lot of time to try and focus my camera on all of them and not just one of them.
The final photo was inspired by David LaChapelle and how vibrant his colours are, resulting in using the ballon's with the highest amount that showed up in the photo. As a result of David LaChapelle using high saturation i am going to increase the saturation and contrast to make the colours show up more and really draw in the viewer.
